Not a Bad Use of Bisquick

From a fraying and stained 1930s recipe book…

Nut Bars

2 cups of bisquick
2 cups brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups nuts – walnuts or pecans

Mix all ingredients together making a thick batter. Bake in 13×9 greased pan at 350 degrees until light brown – about 20-25 minutes. Cut into bars. Sprinkle with confectioner’s sugar.

  1. Yum! I could make these tonight, maybe. I have everything except the nuts. Hmmm… Thanks for the yummy recipe.
